A Treat from
Valentine's Day!
I know we always associate milk chocolate with Valentine's Day,
but I decided to be a little different. Try it--you'll like it!
And it's pretty easy...
Almond-Infused Hot White Chocolate
over Frozen Berries |
Frozen raspberries and blueberries |
1 capful of almond flavoring |
10 oz. good white chocolate |
chopped slivered almonds |
1 c. heavy cream |

Toast the almonds for ten minutes in a 350 degree oven, or brown them in butter for a couple minutes on the stove.
Arrange frozen berries in bowls and let them thaw a bit, not too much,
just so they're not rock hard. Meanwhile, mix the white chocolate,
cream, and flavoring in a double boiler until smooth. Pour over
berries, dividing among each bowl. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Serves 5-6. |
