A Treat from
I know we always associate milk chocolate with Valentine's Day,
but I decided to be a little different. Try it--you'll like it!
And it's pretty easy...
|Almond-Infused Hot White Chocolate
over Frozen Berries
|Frozen raspberries and blueberries
||1 capful of almond flavoring
|10 oz. good white chocolate
||chopped slivered almonds
|1 c. heavy cream
|Toast the almonds for ten minutes in a 350 degree oven, or brown them in butter for a couple minutes on the stove.
Arrange frozen berries in bowls and let them thaw a bit, not too much,
just so they're not rock hard. Meanwhile, mix the white chocolate,
cream, and flavoring in a double boiler until smooth. Pour over
berries, dividing among each bowl. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
